In addition to my previous post about new clubs, there are a couple of other newly opened and soon-to-open lounges and watering holes to check out.

Hotel Capri opened in the spot on Lower Greenville formerly occupied by Moosh. With its modernist interior design and DJ visits by the likes of S.O.U.L.jah (left) and Arsenal, it's a sleek change of pace in that stretch of town. And did I mention it has a bed in VIP?! Madison Avenue is a new venture from the folks that brought us Uptown's Tribeca. Launched in December and located above the new McKinney Avenue bar Liar's Den, Madison Avenue is a small, dark space where Uptowners pack the dance floor and get cozy on the wooden patio.

Finally, I haven't heard anything official, but I'm hoping The Vagabond, a promised mixology bar on Lower Greenville, makes its debut this year. A bar featuring tenders trained by Dale DeGroff, the so-called King of Cocktails? Yes, please!
