Another boutique shuttering its doors is Crimson in the City. The contemprary store in downtown closed on Dec. 31. A source tells us that the merchandise will be marked down on their website, so check back at a later date!

Downtown loses another little gem.

Earlier today, I watched what I don't make time for very often: Good Morning America. I love that show. Diane...Robin...Chris...and ol' what's-his-name the weather guy. I just wanta sit up there with them. To laugh. To get teary over heart-rending stories. To eat the free stuff that various chefs bring in.

Today, in addition to talking sandwiches (ahhh, sandwiches, but I digress) they talked fitness. Specifically, GMA's Fit Club...which is, we surmise, like the TDMN Fit Club, but with a few more members.

I just caught the end of the segment, which showed about a dozen people who want to get fit. A trainer is helping them reach their goals, one step at a time.

Today, one of the women asked, "How do I stop mindless eating?"

Hm. Anyone have an answer to that? (asked she who thinks she has eaten peanut M&Ms from the freezer twice today...or maybe it was three times).
