After this post, no more talk of the past, I promise. But, as I ponder my resolution to stop being a deadbeat blogger in 2009, I thought I'd pass on some links to year-end music packages done by various local sites and publications.
Here's my look at local music. My No. 1 album of the year came from Denton's Record Hop (above).
Preston Jones over at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram talked about his favorite national and local releases.

Zac Crain over at Frontburner sought out different opinions on 2008's music (including mine) for a couple of posts here and here.
WeShotJR's Stonedranger wrote some nice blurbies about his favorite national releases. There's probably some sort of local wrap-up to come soon there.
