A spokesman for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport confirmed that flight operations were going smoothly Tuesday morning, following delay-plagued Monday.
It was good news for travelers, because Tuesday and Wednesday are the busiest getaway days for the Thanksgiving holiday, with some 200,000 travelers expected to pass through D/FW’s terminals each day — up from around 160,000 on a typical day.

New parts and technicians were brought in to fix the problem, but a back up system was in place shortly after the problem was discovered.
