Two people are accused of robbing a Sonic restaurant employee as she brought their hamburger order out to their car earlier this week. Adrian Davis, 25, of Glenn Heights and Jessica Collins, 23, of Lancaster were each charged with aggravated robbery, Garland police said today. Officers responded to a robbery just after 9 p.m. Tuesday after a Sonic employee reported that a customer robbed her at gunpoint at one of the restaurant’s pull-in stations in the 300 block of Castle Drive, police said. The employee said she was bringing food to a white four-door car when the driver pointed a gun at her and demanded money, police said. The driver then reached and pulled off her apron. The employee said a woman inside the car also told her to give the driver money. The employee ran inside the Sonic, and the car headed west toward Lavon Drive, police said. Shortly after the incident, officers spotted a white four-door Buick north of the Sonic on Crist Road. Police said the two people and a gun found inside the car matched witness descriptions. Davis and Collins were each charged with aggravated robbery, and bail was set at $10,000. They were also being held on other outstanding warrants.
