Police are investigating the death of a teen who was gunned down during a drug deal that left a total of two dead and two wounded in south-central Fort Worth.
The shooting reported at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of East Ramsey Avenue involved members of the Crips street gang and at least one assault rifle, police said.
At least one 17-year-old ran inside a home. An unknown number of people gave chase and shot the teen, who died at the scene.
A 16-year-old fled through the back of the home. He was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the arm.
Two others were also taken to John Peter Smith. Henry Downey, 44, of Fort Worth died there, and a 42-year-old man remains hospitalized and is in custody for his involvement in the shooting.
Authorities had not released the identities of the teen who died or the two people who were injured.
