A 32-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday on accusations of having sex with her 15-year-old male neighbor, Fort Worth police said.

Nicole Gray was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and was later released on $25,000 bond, police said.

Ms. Gray and the teen struck up a friendship in July, police said. Platonic text messages later turned sexual.

In September, Ms. Gray asked the boy to sneak out of his house and meet her for sex, police said.

The teen’s mother told police she became suspicious and barred him from using his cell phone. When she inspected the text messages on his cell phone, she discovered her son was having sex with his “girlfriend,” police said.

The next day, the teen told his mom his girlfriend had given him a new phone. When the mother demanded that the girlfriend’s parents come get the phone, Ms. Gray posed as the girlfriend’s mother, police said. A day later, the teen’s mother about Ms. Gray.

When the mom confronted the teen, she learned that he had been skipping school, drinking at Ms. Gray’s house, and had sex at least four times with Ms. Gray, police said.

Three teens were at her home in the 10000 block of Bear Creek Trail at the time of her arrest Wednesday.
