Chicas Locas in the 3400 block of West Division Street was raided about 7:15 p.m. Thursday after the Arlington police’s vice and narcotics unit received reports of illegal activity following several months of investigation into the club, said Lt. Blake Miller, an Arlington police spokesman.
Twenty people were arrested during the raid, including Bridgett Alford, 24, a dancer, and Jose Ceja-Buenrostro, 57, a bathroom attendant.
Ms. Alford was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana under two ounces. Mr. Ceja-Buenrostro was arrested on a felony warrant for delivery of a controlled substance, Lt. Miller said.
Mr. Ceja-Buenrostro had sold drugs to a narcotics officer at the club prior to the raid, Lt. Miller said.
Eight patrons were arrested on misdemeanor and felony warrants.
Arlington police also found alcohol being sold at the club, which is not allowed. The Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission is investigating those allegations.
