A 38-year-old man died this morning after his pickup rolled over on Interstate 20 near U.S. Highway 287 in Arlington, police said. Derik Austin of Fort Worth was driving westbound on I-20 about 7:15 a.m. when he lost control of his Ford F-150 pickup and was thrown from the truck, Arlington police said. Mr. Austin, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he died, police said. Passenger Colonie Flagg, 30, of Forest Hill was also taken to JPS for minor injuries. The wreck caused temporary lane closures on I-20 Friday.
