The Dallas County medical examiner's office is likely to begin toxicology tests today on the bodies of two women found in a Dallas motel room.
Two women, who have not been identified, were found dead Wednesday in the 4700 block of Lucky Lane.
Dallas police said they were searching for the man who paid for the room and hoping he would be able to provide more information about the women.
The motel’s owner, Praful Patel, said he hadn’t seen the man since he checked in. Mr. Patel said he allowed the man to check in without identification. He looked “nice and clean— a family person,” he said.
The man appeared to be in his 40s and said he’d have one guest staying with him, Mr. Patel said.
Authorities said the women – one believed to be in her early 20s, the other believed to be in her early 30s – did not have any signs of trauma on their bodies when they were found about 5:20 p.m. Police suspect their deaths may be drug-related, Dallas police Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse said.
