in robbery spree Police in Sachse, Wylie and Lavon are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 2000 white Jaguar S-Type, Texas license number X83-DVJ. The car was stolen in a violent home invasion robbery shortly before 7 a.m. Monday in Sachse that left one man in a local hospital with injuries from a beating. According to Lt. Martin Cassidy of the Sachse Police Department, investigators believe the same robbers – described as two black males wearing dark clothing and bandannas over their faces, armed with handguns – also committed similar offenses in Wylie and Lavon. In the Wylie robbery, which happened about 6 a.m., two men kicked a door in at a private residence in the 500 block of Candlewood Court and held the occupants at gunpoint, demanding money. One of the victims suffered minor facial injuries when a robber hit him with a handgun. The robbers left the Candlewood Court home with some cash and jewelry. Police believe they drove away in a silver 2005 Toyota Corolla with Texas license number V31-MSS, which was taken earlier in the morning from the Trails Place Apartments in Wylie. Anyone with information can call Sgt. Chris Burns at 972-495-2271, ext. 214.
