If you've seen graffiti murals in Oak Cliff, there's a chance that members of the Sour Grapes crew painted them.

Tomorrow night, the 13-member art collective hosts an art show at a Deep Ellum gallery space, combining graffiti art, photography and paintings.
It's the group's second show. Their first – held in 2006 at Adikt sneaker boutique in the West Village – drew more than 400 people, says Miguel Donjuan, one of Sour Grapes' founding members.
"It's something people weren't used to seeing," says Donjuan, 23. "We're into art, we're into sneakers, we're into music. ... All that stuff influences our artwork."
Donjuan, his brother Arturo and four other friends started the collective in 2000 while attending Sunset High School. They bonded over their love for hip-hop culture, and saw graffiti as a creative outlet.
The majority of Sour Grapes' members are still graffiti artists, but none paint illegally anymore. Other Sour Grapes members include graphic designers, photographers, screen-printers and tattoo artists.
Tomorrow's show will feature graffiti art from Dallas artist Soner and New York City's Heroin. There'll be photography from Los Angeles duo Day19, and T-shirts designed specially for the event by the Sour Grapes crew.
The Donjuans say they'll also have a paleta cart with free Mexican popsicles for the crowd.
"It's a lot of diversity of styles," says Arturo, 24. "Everyone's going to be surprised in this show, even ourselves." Lesley Téllez
