UNT freshman wins Sun Belt track honor
Alysha Adams of North Texas was named the outstanding freshman on the final day of the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Fouts Field when the Mean Green women finished second in the team standings.

Baseball: Oklahoma 10, Kansas State 2
J.T. Wise homered and drove in four runs as Oklahoma beat Kansas State 10-2 Sunday to move ahead of the Wildcats in the Big 12 standings.
Baseball: Nebraska 9, Texas A&M 8
Nebraska scored five runs in the ninth to rally to a 9-8 win over Texas A&M in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader.
Texas A&M wins Big 12 softball title
Megan Gibson threw a three-hit shutout and also drove in one run as Texas A&M beat Nebraska 5-0 Sunday to win its first Big 12 championship.

Rebel Ridling homered and had four RBIs and Oklahoma State had 18 hits as the Cowboys beat Texas Tech 13-3 on Saturday.
Baseball: Texas A&M 6, Nebraska 3 (16)
Dane Carter hit a three-run double in the top of the 16th inning, giving Texas A&M a 6-3 victory over Nebraska on Friday night.

SMU basketball signee asks for his release
Men's basketball signee Jarred DuBois, a 6-3, 170-pound guard from Westchester High in Los Angeles, has asked to be released from the national letter of intent he signed with SMU in November.
