Busch overcomes challenges to win Dodge Challenger 500

He called his car pathetic. His crew missed a lug nut, and he couldn't stay off Darlington Raceway's wall. Despite it all, Kyle Busch found Victory Lane once again, winning the Dodge Challenger 500 for his third Sprint Cup Series victory of the season Saturday night.

NHRA driver Force gets 1,000th round win
John Force cemented his position as the most prolific Funny Car driver in NHRA history, becoming the first to reach 1,000 round wins with a first-round victory over Ron Capps in the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals.
Bowyer wins wild Sprint Cup race in Richmond

Clint Bowyer was a surprise winner at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night, stealing a win in the Dan Lowry 400 that first seemed destined for Denny Hamlin, then Dale Earnhardt Jr. Neither made it to Victory Lane, though, because of a wild ending that saw three drivers denied the trip Bowyer made to Victory Lane.

AP Dan Wheldon, pictured here in March, was in town Wednesday to promote the Bombardier Learjet 550k at TMS on June 7. IndyCar Series driver Dan Wheldon said Wednesday that Danica Patrick's first series victory two weeks ago in Japan was great for her and builds momentum for the series heading to the Indianapolis 500. Said Wheldon: "For what she's achieved, everybody has to respect her."
